ESP - Me hace muchísima ilusión enseñaros este mini proyecto que por fin puedo mostrar ya que lo traían los Reyes Magos. Se trata de una casita de muñecas para Daniela. En realidad se la íbamos a regalar en su segundo cumpleaños, incluso ya teníamos comprados la mayoría de muebles, pero por algún motivo nunca llegó la que encargamos en UK y ahora que lo pienso, casi me alegro, porque así tuve tiempo de buscar más ideas y de hacer más cositas especiales.
La casita también cambió, ya que decidí no arriesgarme con un envío internacional y elegí el modelo "My big Home" de Coccoli.(Ya os hablaré un poco más sobre esta marca en otro post. Tienen unas cosas preciosas!)
Una de las cosas que quería, era que la familia que viviera en la casita, reflejara a la nuestra. La idea original era poner a Peppa Pig y su familia, que Daniela por ese entonces era muy fan. Esa idea me venía bien porque Peppa tiene un hermano pequeño, George. Pero los meses fueron pasando, Peppa ya no le gustaba tanto, y yo iba viendo otras ideas en diversos blogs, Etsy, Pinterest. Y un día me enamoré de los "peg dolls", que son unos muñecos de madera, que están muy de moda porque se pueden personalizar y se usan mucho como toppers para tartas de boda, comunión, etc.
Así que decidí que mi casita (o sea la casita de Daniela) iba a tener a nuestra familia como protagonista. Busqué en tiendas online hasta dar con esta que los vendía a buen precio, y con un poco de pintura e imaginación me puse manos a la obra. Por supuesto no podía faltar también Patrick. Sé que si no lo tuviese estaría muy triste.
Los muebles también fueron personalizados, ya os enseñaré en otro post como eran recién comprados, y como con una mano de pintura y telas se puede cambiar el look por completo.
Finalmente, para añadirle un toque personalizado, imprimí las láminas y cuadros que tengo en mi casa, en versión mini, para que Daniela viera en su casita aquellas cosas que nos gustan y adornan nuestras paredes.
Eso me recuerda que tengo que hacer algunas fotos de mi casa, para que veáis como la voy decorando, aunque aún me faltan muchas cosas! Espero que os guste este DIY!!

ENG - I'm very excited to share this mini project with you all. It's Daniela's Dollhouse. I was actually going to give it to her for her 2nd birthday, even had bought all the furniture, but then the actual house didn't arrive from the UK.
Now that I think about it, I'm happy it happened, because I had time to see blogs, etsy and Pinterest for more inspiration, and even changed the house for another one made in Spain (couldn't risk it twice), the model "My big Home" from Coccoli.(I will talk about this brand in a future post, they do have beautiful things in their shop!)
One of the things I wanted was for the family to have a resemblance to ours. My original idea was to have Peppa Pig family, as it suited me because Peppa has a little brother. But months passed by and she wasn't that interested in Peppa Pig anymore and one day going through Etsy I fell in love with "peg dolls". This cute wooden dolls, are very much in fashion right now, especially used as toppers for wedding, communnion cakes.
So I decided that Daniela's house would have her real family living in it. I was lucky to find this shop and bought the dolls and some paint, and put my imagination to work. Of course I also had to make Patrick or Daniela would have been devastated.
Furniture was also customized, I will show you in another post the before and after pictures, only using some paint and fabrics.
I also wanted to personalize the house by printing mini prints like the ones I have in my home, so Daniela could see and appreciate them in her little house. I hope you like this DIY!
